This truly has been a ass kicking motivating week for me! Not only have I lost a whopping 7.2 pounds since starting Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred on 2/1, I successfully went the entire week without eating bread! I love to eat a sandwich so giving up bread was no easy task for me.
I weigh myself every morning pre and post workout and it’s awesome to see the scale go down everyday. I want this more now than I even thought I could imagine 6 months ago…I am not the same person anymore. My attitude about my body and my emotional strength has changed.
This next week it’s back to additional cardio. For some reason I am really looking forward to it! I know cardio is the ho-hum of working out but it is so necessary. It makes the circuit training easier to handle. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow but I might just do my entire session in the morning. I don’t mind working out twice a day but it makes my evening run much more smoothly if I complete my workout in the morning…so looks like I will be setting my alarm for 4:50 am!!!
BTW: My boyfriend is harrassing me for not being a Saints fan but he still loves me anyway :-)
